Retire into the Spotlight





  

    


   
	

Taking early retirement from a dead-end government job in order to focus on
acting is a decision Ian has never regretted. He has played a range of character
acting rôles for Opera Australia and the Australian Ballet, including
Astolfo in "Alcina" and Manon's father in "Manon Lescaut".






He was in the Sydney Company of "Phantom of the Opera" for three years,
but in spite of this strong musical interest, he is not a singer!




   

     



     
     

Ian's film and T.V. experience includes featured rôles in "Frauds",
and "Country Life". He has played a variety of derelicts and senile
old codgers, but occasionally plays distinguished gentlemen.
